Isabel Sanford a.k.a. Weezie from "The Jeffersons" 7/12/04

Goodbye Isabel Sanford
As “Weezie” we knew you well
You were married to George
Who ran those laundromats so well
You crawled out of nowhere
A long career that you did have
Helen and Tom your interracial friends
Never shill for Old Navy of Denny’s again

And it seemed to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing when to say
A zinger to George again
And I would have liked to know you
But I was just a kid
You candle burned out long before
The Jefferson’s ever did.

Marlon Brando...great young actor...older fat guy

Marlon Brando passed away yesterday July 1st. In loving memory here is his personal version of CITW. No Apocalypse Now reference in it though. I know that Marlon had a bunch of kids by a few different women and one of his sons (Christian) killed his girlfriend and is now in the pokey for that.

Goodbye Marlon Brando
Francis Ford Coppola knew you well
You played the Don Vito Corleone
And Dr Moreau, history would tell
You crawled out of Omaha
With a dream in your hand
Won an Oscar every now and then
You and Ferris Bueller in “The Freshman”

And it seemed to me that you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing when to stop eating
At the buffet line again
And Larry King would have like to know you
After that weird interview you did
You candle burned out long before
“Stella!” ever did
